The next day Carrie had decided to go and see Craig because she felt like she had been ignoring him and wanted to spend some time with him. They decided to meet up at a restaurant for lunch and then hang out after wards. Sidney had taken the twins to the Lemieux's house so that Natalie could watch them and he could get to practice. Carrie got to the restaurant first and waited at the table for Craig to arrive, which he did a few minutes later.
"Hey sis how are you?" Craig said as he gave Carrie a quick kiss her temple.
"I am good" Carrie said with a smile and she move her sleeve slightly and Craig noticed the bruise on her arm.
"What is that?" Craig exclaimed as he pointed to her arm.
"Nothing Craig" Carrie said as she moved her sleeve back to how it had been on her arm.
"Don't say nothing, Carrie! What did Sidney do to you?" Craig was now pissed off.
"Please Craig this is not the place to get into an argument."
"Carrie don't protect Sidney. If he hurt you I am going to take care of it! And he swore to me that he would never be anything like Jack and now maybe I was right all along and what about the twins. Did he hurt them?" Craig was looking like the veins on his forehead were going to explode.
Carrie started to get upset but did not want to cause a scene in the restaurant,"He did not hurt the twins. They are fine just like I am. We can talk about it after we eat. Let's have a civilized lunch for my sake please" Carrie pleaded as she tried to keep the tears from falling.
"Fine but we will talk later" Craig said still sounding furious.
Carrie took a few deep breaths and then tried to relax with her brother at lunch.
When they left the restaurant they headed back to Craig's condo, where they talked.
"Show me your arms now Carrie!" demanded Craig.
Carrie pulled up her sleeves so that Craig could see the bruises that clearly were big hand prints on her arms.
"What the hell! Did he hurt you anywhere else, Carrie? And don't you dare lie to me."
"No he did not hurt me other than grabbing my arms. I swear on my life, Craig."
"I believe you, Carrie. Why did he have his hands on you in the first place?"
Carrie sat down on the sofa and Craig did the same.
"You know he had a horrible game last night. And then Ava and Aaron were crying most of the way home after the game in the car because they were tired. Sidney was yelling about having a headache and he was just in a pissed off mood and I was the one in the end who he let out his frustrations on by grabbing my arms. He apologized to me because I told him if he ever did that again he would never see his children or me and I don't think he liked the thought of that" Carrie explained.
"I still think I need to say something to him and its not going to be pleasant but I will make sure we are not in public so nothing happens to his precious image. God right now I really want to punch his lights out."
"I don't think a fight is a good way to solve what happened with Sid and me ok. I love him and I think he really does believe that I would take his children away for good. I also know he feels horribly guilty for last night anyway so leave him be for my sake, please" Carrie said as she looked at Craig.
"Fine, I will let it go but I really don't want to but for you and the twins sakes, I will let it go" Craig said.
"Thank you" Carrie said as she gave Craig a hug.
As Carrie was leaving Craig's condo she called Sidney because she did not know who was watching the twins.
"Hey Sid" Carrie said.
"Hey doll face what's up?"
"I am leaving Craig's place so I was just wondering where are my precious babies?"
"Natalie is watching them."
"Ok then I will head over there and pick them up. Where are you exactly?"
"I am actually just hanging out with Marc Andre and Max in the locker room and need to shower before I head out. So then I guess I will meet you guys at the house. Hey did you and Craig have a nice time together?"
"I will tell you all about it when I see you at home but it was nice to hang out with him."
"Oh no he saw your arms then" Sidney said as he ran his hand through his hair.
"Yeah anywho let me getting going and I will see you soon" Carrie said as she hung up the phone and headed to the Lemieux's.
Sidney hung up his phone and threw it down in his locker. Marc Andre and Max both jumped and looked at Sidney with confused looks. Sidney rarely caused a major commotion so Marc Andre decided to say something, "Sidney is everything ok with you?"
Sidney looked up and saw the two of them staring at him with confused looks, "I kinda did something really stupid last night and I am not proud of myself."
"What happened?" asked Max as he sat down next to Sidney and so did Marc Andre.
"I don't want to talk about it" Sidney said sounding annoyed.
"Dude we are family here. We help each other out so what's going on?" asked Marc Andre.
"I hurt Carrie" Sidney said as his eyes teared up and he put his hands in his face.
"What?!" exclaimed Marc Andre and Max at the same time.
"I hurt her ok and I am not proud of myself. I am not that type of person. I don't hurt people that I love but I did and it really freaked me out!"
"Is Carrie going to be ok?" asked Max looking concerned.
"She is fine and we have talked. That is why I was not here the other day. We needed a family day and time to work things out" Sidney explained.
"How and why did you hurt Carrie?" asked Marc Andre.
"You know I had fucked up game the other night and then the twins were crying the whole way home and when we got home and we were alone I started yelling at her and then I grabbed her arms and now Carrie has a couple of nice bruises on her arms because of my stupidity" Sidney said.
"Wow that's surprising" Max said as he shook his head in disbelief.
"Yeah please don't say anything to anyone because I don't want this spread around and Carrie and I have worked things out. I already feel extremely guilty and she even threatened that if anything ever happens again that I will never see her or the twins and I believe her."
"We won't say anything Sid. We promise and if you need anything just let us know ok man" Marc Andre said and both he and Max nodded their heads in agreement about not saying a word to anyone.
"Thanks guys I really appreciate it a lot and now I need a shower before I head home to my family" Sidney said as he got up and gave both guys man hugs.
Sidney got home and heard Carrie and the twins playing in the den and he walked in and saw an amazing sight. Carrie was playing with the twins and all three of them were giggling and having fun.
"Can I join in the fun?" asked Sidney from the doorway.
Carrie looked up at Sid and smiled, "Of course, hey Aaron and Ava look whose here, its daddy" Carrie said in baby talk to the twins. Sidney came over and sat down next to Carrie and joined in on the fun.

Best Friends Chapter 35
Warning Mild Violence and Language
The wedding plans were actually getting accomplished which was a thrill to Carrie because after all they had been through lately. Carrie was talking with Sidney's mother about flowers, food, photographer, decorations and other things. Carrie and Sidney had finally decided on a outdoor chapel near the water in Halifax that was private for both of their tastes. And the reception was going to be at a local hockey rink where dancing and dinner would be served. The cake was ordered and it was a chocolate and white cake with little hockey pucks, sticks and helmets as decorations. There was also going to be two little people on top of the cake and of course one would be Sidney in his tux with the number 87 on his back and Carrie as the perfect bride. Carrie also had the help of Natalie Lemieux which was awesome. Natalie was great at knowing people to help Carrie out with different aspects of the wedding.
Sidney in the mean time was busy playing hockey and trying to have another great season. The Penguins were playing decently but not like the blockbuster season before where they had gone all the way and won the cup. Sidney had stretches where he was on fire and scoring like a madman but then of course there were nights where he didn't even have one point to his name. But such is the life of a hockey player and so he made due. Sidney worked out like his normal madman self and when he got home he would help Carrie out with the twins and wedding plans.
Sidney, Carrie and the twins came home from a home game on night where Sidney had had a horrible game. He had been in the penalty box twice and had no goals or assists. Needless to say he was not a fun person to be around on the ride home. The twins were tired, cranky and crying and Carrie was trying to calm them down because she knew that Sidney was getting even more annoyed with all the noise in the Range Rover as they headed home.
"Carrie can you please quiet them now?" Sidney complained loudly to Carrie.
"Please don't yell at me about quieting the twins. Just because you had a bad game don't take it out on me or them. And for gracious sakes alive they are babies and you being loud is frightening them" Carrie explained as she turned in her seat to try to settle the twins down.
"They are giving me a headache with all that crying" Sidney said sounding pissed off.
"Tough bounce Crosby" Carrie said even though she had other words in her head that she really wanted to say but was keeping her cool.
The twins finally calmed down as they drove into the driveway. Sidney and Carrie brought the twins inside and headed straight for the nursery. Carrie could tell Sidney was still upset but he was doing his best to keep it on the inside until they finished getting the twins settled for the night.
When Sidney and Carrie got into their bedroom, Sidney started ranting again. Carrie was a little frightened by Sidney when this happened because Sidney grabbed her arms and kinda forced her to listen to him. She tried to get him to let go but he had a grip on her upper arms that she had a feeling might become bruises.
"Sidney you are hurting my arms. Let go of me now" Carrie cried out but Sidney continued ranting about the game and the twins.
"No listen to me. Are you hearing anything I am saying, Carrie" Sidney demanded looking at Carrie with a look that she had only seen when Jack was about to hit her. Carrie was struggling to get out of Sidney's grip which she finally did and ran out of the bedroom and into the master bathroom where she locked the doors. Carrie sat down on the floor and sobbed.
Sidney looked at the bathroom door and then looked in the mirror on the bedroom door and saw his face. He looked like a crazy person and no wonder Carrie had been scared of him. Sidney was furious at himself for hurting Carrie and he heard her crying in the bathroom so he went to the door and knocked.
"Carrie, sweetheart I am sorry for yelling at you. And I did not mean to hurt you. God I am such a dumbass and idiot. Please talk to me. You know I love you" Sidney said as he slid down the door and waited to see if Carrie would open the door. Sidney continued to hear her crying and all he wanted to do was hold her and protect her. After what seemed like forever Sidney heard a click of the lock. He stood up and tried the doorknob and it opened. When Sidney walked into the bathroom the sight he saw torn his heart apart. Carrie was sitting Indian style against the far wall hugging herself and sobbing. Sidney slowly walked over to her and sat in front of her and spoke, "Baby I am so sorry for getting all pissed off and taking it out on you. You don't deserved that and I never meant to scare you after everything. God I really fucked up didn't I?" Sidney said as he blew out a breath he had been holding in and then looked at Carrie, who had calmed down and was looking at him.
"You really scared me and that look made me think of when Jack would get ready to hit me for no apparent reason. I hate that feeling and never want to feel it again. EVER" Carrie emphasized.
"I never want to make you feel that way again. I swear on my life that I will never ever be Jack. I love you and care about you always and forever. I don't know where that part of me came from. Please Carrie please forgive me. I need you in my life" pleaded Sidney, who was looking scared and lost now.
"I swear that if you ever hurt me again or the twins that is it! True, we have been through a lot and love each other but I never ever want to see that part of you AGAIN Sidney because if you do that again you will never see your children or me. I forgive you! Am I making myself clear?" Carrie exclaimed pointed her finger into Sidney's chest.
"Crystal clear Carrie" Sidney said.
"I think tonight we need to sleep in separate rooms" Carrie said staring at her hands.
"I will sleep in the spare room so you can be near the twins" Sidney said as he looked at the floor.
"Fine" Carrie said getting up and heading into the bedroom to get ready for bed. Sidney followed and got what he needed and then walked out of the room but then turned back, "Goodnight Carrie".
"Goodnight Sidney".
That night both Carrie and Sidney had rough time getting to sleep. Sidney was tossing and turning thinking about what he had done and he felt horrible so he got and went downstairs to get something to drink and then he went into the den and found some movie to watch. Carrie got up too and went to the bathroom and then headed downstairs too. She found Sidney watching television in the den. Carrie walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water and then went to where Sidney was sitting and sat down next to him. He put his arm around her shoulders and she snuggled up next to Sidney putting her arm across his chest. They sat together and watched the movie and then they fell asleep together on the couch.
The next morning Sidney woke up and saw Carrie asleep next to him. They were cuddled next to each other on the sofa. It then hit him why they were asleep on the sofa and not in bed. Sidney shifted slightly and tried not to wake Carrie but he did anyway and she almost fell off the couch but Sidney caught her.
"Good morning" Sidney said with a slight smile.
"Morning to you too" Carrie said and surprised Sidney with a quick kiss and then she got up and headed into the bathroom. Sidney sat up and thought 'I guess things are cool now' and headed to the bathroom himself too.
Carrie and Sidney then got breakfast ready together before they got the twins up. Sidney went and woke the twins up and brought them into the kitchen and got them settled for breakfast. Carrie fed the twins with Sidney's help. Then she cleaned then up and together they bathed and dressed the twins for the day.
After they had the twins playing on the floor, Sidney told Carrie to get showered and dressed first while he watched the twins.
"Thanks Sidney"
"No problem and take your time we are fine and I am not going to practice today. I think we need some time together today. If that is ok with you?" Sidney asked.
"Yeah that sounds good to me" as Carrie smiled at him.
After they both had showered and gotten dressed, Sidney and Carrie sat down on the floor with Ava and Aaron and played and talked. They had a very in depth conversation about what had happened the night before and how things could be handled better. They kissed and made up and spent the rest of the day as a family playing and swimming and just having fun.

Best Friends Chapter 34
Carrie was back into the swing of things after all the crazy things that life and thrown at her lately. She was on a roll picking out flowers and decorations for the wedding. It was a hectic time and she also had the twins to chase around because they were at the point of crawling everywhere.
"Good Grief, you two have more energy than the Energizer Bunny. Ava come back over here to mommy. Aaron put down daddy's remote controller please" Carrie said as she walked over to where Ava was to catch her before she crawled into another room where Carrie might not be able to see her easily. Carrie picked up Ava and moved her back to where Carrie was sitting and playing with the twins. Then she took the remote controller out of Aaron's hand which made him start crying. Carrie picked up Aaron and held him and kissed his cute little cheek, which calmed him for the time being.
"Man I can't wait until nap time when I can put you two crazy munchkins down for some peace and quiet" Carrie sighed as she put Aaron next to Ava and distracted them with some toys.
Lunchtime came around and Carrie had the twins are settled when her cell phone went off and she got and looked at her phone to see who was calling her. It was Craig.
"Hey Craig, can I call you back because I am in the middle of feeding the twins lunch and they really need their nap" Carrie said sounding stressed out.
"What's going on? Where's Sidney?" asked Craig sounding worried.
"He is at some Reebok thing and he said that he would be back before dinner but I am not counting on that so that is why the twins need their nap and so I can survive until Sidney does get home" Carrie explained as she tried to feed the twins while still talking to Craig.
"I will just come over there and I will help you. I really only wanted to hang out with my sister so I will see you in a few" Craig said as he got himself ready to leave.
"Sounds good see you soon" Carrie said and then ended the call and then continued to feed the twins.
About 30 minutes later the doorbell rang and Carrie went to the door, "Hey Craig."
"Hey Carebear" Craig said as he walked into the house.
"Well you lucked out because I was able to fed the twins and just got them down for their nap so it is now quiet and I am feeling a little bit better. Sorry if I was short with you on the phone but they were going crazy" Carrie said as they headed into the den and sat down on the couch.
"Yeah I kinda heard that in the background when we were talking and don't apologize about being short Carrie, I know its been a rough for you lately. I can tell that you seem in a much better mood which I know is good for everybody" Craig said.
"Yeah I mean I still miss my baby but I know that he or she is my guardian angel and I know I might sound silly but I think he or she was brought into my life for a brief moment to make me realize that life is precious and that Sidney and I are supposed to be together and we can make it through that we can make it through anything in our life as a family" Carrie said sincerely.
"Yeah I am just so happy that you are dealing with the loss of you baby so well. I am glad that Sidney is there for you and the twins. I know that I had my doubts at first because of who he was but I realized that he loves you so much and does everything for you and the twins. I was also impressed at the way he dealt with you being sick, the twins and his job and never complained at all. Carrie, Sidney loves you more than anything and that is all that I ever wanted for you." Craig said and then gave Carrie a hug.
Sidney had come home and heard the conversation but he did not want to interrupt so he quietly stood off to the side and listened. He smiled when he heard what Craig said about him to Carrie.
"Thanks Craig that was really sweet of you to say and I love Sidney very much too but right now I don't want to move because those two little kiddos exhausted me so I hate to kick you out but I think I need a nap too. I promise I will call you later and we can have lunch or something very soon" Carrie said as she got up and then Craig followed her to the door.
"I think that sounds like a great idea. Love you Carebear" Craig said as they hugged one more time and then Craig left and headed to his car.
Meanwhile Sidney had crept quietly into the bedroom and changed and then waited for Carrie in the den. Carrie walked back into the den and jumped when she saw Sidney chilling out on the sofa.
"Hey when did you get home?" Carrie asked as she walked over to Sidney and sat down next to him.
"Long enough to hear what Craig had to say about me" Sidney said smiling at Carrie.
"Oh wow you heard us" Carrie said.
"Yeah and I love you and you are lucky to have a brother like that" Sidney said as he took Carrie's hand and pulled her to his lap.
Carrie looked down at Sidney and they kissed.
"Good Grief, you two have more energy than the Energizer Bunny. Ava come back over here to mommy. Best Friends Chapter 33
Wedding planning was going slowly because Carrie had not been feeling well. She had sneaking suspicious that she might be pregnant and the reason she thought that was that she felt the same way right before she found out she was pregnant with the twins. She was sleeping a lot more, constantly feeling nauseous and was not interested in eating. Sidney did not realize that Carrie was acting too different because she was doing a good job of acting that she was fine.
Finally one morning when Sidney was at practice, Carrie took a pregnancy test and waited. It would be great to have another kid but they had so much going on now that another kid might not be the greatest idea. And if she was pregnant then the wedding would have to be delayed until after this baby was born. Finally Carrie got up and went to look at the results of the test.
"Ugh positive" Carrie moaned as she threw away the test and then sat down on the bathroom floor. She put her face in her hands and cried. Carrie had not heard Sidney come home and walk into the bedroom and then rush to her side on the floor of the bathroom.
"Hey Carrie what's wrong" Sidney said as he hugged her. Carrie just continued to cry and tried to push Sidney away but he held her tightly.
Carrie finally took a few breaths and then moved away from Sidney and looked at him and then spoke, "I am pregnant."
Sidney looked at her confused and wondering why would she not be happy about them having another baby, "Why are crying about this? We both agreed that we wanted a big family so this is wonderful news. I am thrilled."
"Sidney, I am not sure I am ready at this moment to have another baby. I do want to have a big family too but I was hoping to wait until after we were married for more kids. Plus I wanted the twins to be a little big older as well. That's all" Carrie said as she finally relaxed.
"I understand what you are saying, Carrie but things don't always go as planned and now we are having another child and I hope you will be just as happy as I am. I love you sweetheart" Sidney said moving closer to Carrie to hug her. Carrie moved into Sidney's arms and hugged him back.
Sidney and Carrie decided not to tell anyone immediately about the new baby just because they wanted it to be their personal special secret that they only new for the time being. When they were ready and before Carrie started really showing they would say something.
But sometimes things don't always go completely the way you want it too. Carrie got really sick with the flu. And she was hospitalized and it was stressful for Sidney especially since he had to watch the twins and practice but luckily his mother came down to Pittsburgh to help him out. He was very thankful for his mother's help as well as the team was totally understanding with Carrie's situation. Sidney missed all of preseason because he was at the hospital with Carrie. She ended up losing the baby because of her being sick. That was hard on both of them and they grieved for the loss of their child.
Carrie blamed herself for the loss because she had been the one that had not been too thrilled about having another baby. Sidney kept telling her it was not her fault and that God had a reason for them not to have this baby. Carrie finally after a couple of weeks was able to come home but was told to take it easy, which she did, thanks to Sidney's mom staying with them.
"Thank you for everything Trina. You don't know how much I appreciate everything you have done while I was in the hospital" Carrie said as she and Trina were sitting on the patio outside relaxing while Sidney played with the twins in the backyard.
"Carrie we are family and I would do anything for you, Sidney and the twins" Trina said as she smiled at Carrie.
"And I know that you know about the baby" Carrie said as she bit her lip.
"Yeah Sidney told me and I so sorry sweetie. I know that Sidney wanted that baby but you too are so young and will have another baby sooner than you think."
"Yeah I know but did Sidney tell you that I was not thrilled when I found out I was pregnant? And how I felt it was my fault that I lost the baby?" Carrie asked as tears filled her eyes.
Trina sat up and moved to the sofa that Carrie was sitting in and gave her a hug and held her, "Sweetie its not your fault that you lost the baby OK. Things happen that we can not control and it was just not time for this baby to be here now."
Carrie calmed down as she listened to Trina talked to her and realized how nice it was to have Sidney's mom there because it was nice to have someone there to be her mother at that moment.
Sidney brought the twins over to where Carrie and his mom were sitting and gave Ava to Trina and Aaron to Carrie and then he sat down in a chair.
"Man these too are seriously full of energy but hopefully I got them tired so that they will go down for their naps easily" Sidney said looking tired.
"You guys looked like you were having lots of fun" Carrie said smiling and then kissing Aaron on the cheek. Trina moved Ava so that Carrie could give her a kiss too.
"Yeah we had a great time. I see that you two were having a pretty serious conversation over here. Is everything OK?" asked Sidney.
"We did and everything is fine, Sid" Trina said looking over at Carrie who smiled back.
"Yeah everything is cool" Carrie said smiling at Sidney.
"I am so glad to see that beautiful smile of yours again, Carrie" Sidney said.
"Thanks Sidney it feels good to smile and know that things are going to be fine in the end" Carrie said with a positive frame of mind that she had not had since she found out that she was pregnant again.
After that it was time for lunch so the five of them decided to go out to lunch. They had a nice time at the restaurant and then headed home. By then it was time for the twins nap so Sidney and Carrie got the twins ready for nap time. They actually did fall asleep very quickly like Sidney had said.
While the twins napped, Sidney, Carrie and Trina talked about the wedding plans. They discussed possibilities of where in Halifax they could have the wedding and then they talked about other wedding things too.
Trina stayed for another week and then headed back to Canada but said to Carrie and Sidney that if she was needed for anything just call her and she would be there on the next flight to Pittsburgh.
Finally things were getting back to normal and Sidney was finally able to play some hockey with this teammates. He had been missed but they knew that family is the most important thing in the world. Carrie was doing well and thanks to Sidney's love and understanding, came to the realization that it had not been her fault that she lost the baby. Carrie and the twins were glad to be at the hockey games and cheering on Sidney and the Penguins.

Best Friends Chapter 32
Then next several weeks were crazy for Carrie because she was now having to plan a wedding. And not just any wedding but her dream wedding to hockey superstar, Sidney Crosby.
"Oh god this is insane! What was I thinking the media is following me everywhere I go since Sidney decided to announce that we were getting married. Maybe we should have just eloped" Carrie said as she looked out the window at all the photographers.
"You should not be at all surprised at all of this attention, Carrie. After all you are marrying Pittsburgh's hockey superstar" Vero smiled as she moved to look at a dress.
"I am not at all surprised but come on can't they leave me alone. I don't want the world to know all about my wedding plans. I deserve some privacy but really what annoys me is when I have the twins with me. I worry about my babies and don't want them hurt or scared. Thank god Natalie is able to watch them today" Carrie explained to Vero.
"Yeah I understand what you are saying especially about the twins and your privacy" Vero said.
Carrie and Vero continued to check out dresses and then finally left the store with Carrie's bridesmaids dresses picked out. Carrie had found the perfect dress for herself too. As they left the store the photographers started snapping pictures of Carrie and Vero as they got into Vero's car.
Carrie and Sidney were planning on getting married the next summer so they had a whole year more or less to get things together. Which was good because they had a million things to do for the perfect wedding they both wanted.
Another new change in their world was the fact that Carrie had finally quit her job with the media department with the Penguins. It had been a hard decision for Carrie because she loved that job and would miss everyone. But she knew she would see them especially since she was going to be Mrs. Sidney Crosby and would see everyone anyway because she would be at the most of the home games and could visit the media crew anytime she wanted. Now Carrie was going to be a stay at home mom and a hockey wife, which was a job in itself.
Meanwhile the guys were having more serious practices because the preseason was getting very close and then the regular season would start and Sidney would be here and there and everywhere.
Carrie and Sidney made time for themselves usually in the evenings and would work on plans for the wedding. Sidney wanted to be married up in Canada and Carrie agreed since both families were from there. Then they had to figure out where exactly which actually did not take too long of a decision because Carrie loved the house in Nova Scotia and thought it would be the perfect place.
"Its by the water Sidney and that would be awesome" Carrie exclaimed.
"I don't want to get married at the house" Sidney complained with a frown.
"Ugh are you trying to screw up my dream wedding ideas?" Carrie said sounding pissed.
"Whatever Addison" Sidney said as he got and walked away and headed to the door, "I am going for a run."
"Crosby, that's a smart idea for you to run because you can't handle this bridezilla right now" Carrie yelled.
Sidney shrugged his shoulders and shook his head and left for his run. Carrie threw a magazine at the door just as Sidney closed it and it made a small bang sound and then fell on the floor.
"God he drives me insane sometimes" Carrie said to herself as she then sat back down on the sofa. She continued to look at other wedding magazines. After a while she had had it with all the wedding stuff so she went and check on the twins, who were sleeping. After Carrie knew that they were not awaken by her and Sidney's argument, Carrie decided to go for a late night swim in the pool. She got ready and then grabbed the baby monitors and headed out to the pool. She set everything where she could hear the monitors and then dove into the pool and swam around for a little while.
Sidney returned from his run and realized that Carrie was not in the house he looked out the windows from the den area and saw her swimming in the pool. He walked out to the pool and she saw him and stopped swimming and looked at him.
"Hey sweetheart I am sorry. Will you forgive me?" asked Sidney as he starting stripping out of his sweaty clothes, leaving on his boxers and then jumped into the pool with Carrie.
Sidney swam over to Carrie and looked at her with puppy dog eyes.
"I don't know if I should forgive you" Carrie said as then splashed water at Sidney and then quickly swam away before he retaliated. But Sidney was quick and caught Carrie and pulled her to him and then made her kiss him. After the kiss Sidney smiled and knew he had Carrie under his adorable spell that she could not resist.
"Man, Hot Shot, how do you do that and make me forgive you so easily?"
"Because we might have arguments but deep down we love each other and that always wins in the end. I love you doll face."
"I love you too Sid. But I do have to say that you stink from your run and now the chlorine from the pool. I suggest that you go and take a shower."
"Only if you join me" Sidney smiled and kissed Carrie again. Carrie nodded and then pushed him away and went to get out of the pool with Sidney following her.
They made it inside the house and Carrie had to quickly check on the twins one more time while Sidney got the shower ready for both of them. When Carrie got into the bathroom she stripped and walked into the shower where Sidney was waiting patiently for her. Carrie walked so that she was next to Sidney and put her arms around his shoulders. He put his arms around her waist and they kissed which lead to them making love in the shower. After the shower they got out of the shower and dried off and then headed to the bedroom and snuggled in each other's arms and went to sleep.
